What an HVAC manufacturer asks for
The fin press is unforgiving: a gauge or flatness variation breaks the fin and stops the line. And the exchanger lives for years in humid or saline environments, where galvanic corrosion decides the life of the unit.
That is why fin stock is specified by gauge, temper and alloy: 1100 for conductivity, 7072 for cathodic protection of the tube. Almexa rolls both from its own strip.

Between 0.004 and 0.006 in in residential and commercial units; up to 0.010 in in industrial units and radiators. Temper is chosen by fin press speed.
